All university students can participate in the Salterim Work and Travel program.

The basic requirement to participate in the Work and Travel program is to be a university student and to have a full-time formal education. Candidates participating in the Work and Travel program must be able to speak at least an intermediate level of English in order to obtain maximum efficiency from the program. Salterim accepts candidates between the ages of 18-26 for the WAT program. For the purpose of successful visa application, it is preferred that the academic grade point average of the candidates is 2 out of 4.

The records of the candidates whose language proficiency and suitability for the program are determined as a result of the interview are taken. Even though they meet the technical criteria mentioned above, candidates who are not eligible to participate in the Work and Travel program will not be registered. Students pay after the eligibility interview.
